I have to agree with Ahmed here that given your stance, anything you do will be suspect right off the bat. But by all means, go for it. Sadly, if the results are similar (and they should be given the knockoff + "extra grinding"), all it's going to do is push up sales of the AMS manifolds because people in general don't give a shit. Most people don't see beyond their wallets so things like innovation, knockoffs and the bigger picture don't matter. If it's even in the ballpark (a few percent below, above or the same), it'll be more a victory for Vuk, AMS and Z1 more than it'll be "validation" to everyone else that it was a blatant knockoff. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Vuk snags your results directly and spins them to work for him. Think about that when deciding how to present them and put on your fire suit.
